Training goal
In the NSC Flagger Training Instructor Course, you'll learn to teach work zone crews standard flagging procedures and how to provide safe passage in and around work areas. Get certified to deliver the Flagger Training Course to your work zone crews.Prerequisites required.
The below are the Prerequisites for the Flagger Instructor Development Course (IDC).
- 1,2,3 are offered online (approx. time 1 hr 45 mins total) - The link will be provided once the registration is complete. In your case once your organization is invoiced.
Module 4 is the Instructor class
Instructor Development Course [IDC] Details:
- Prerequisite: Have a current Flagger Novice certification [NSC or another provider]
- Format: Blended Learning (eLearning: Modules 1, 2, 3 & In Person: Module 4
E-Learning - Modules 1, 2, 3:
- Module 1: About NSC – 15 minutes
- Module 2: Course Facilitation – 45 minutes
- Module 3: Work Zone Training – 45 minutes
Instructor Led Training - Module 4:
- Flagger 4th Edition IDC - 8 Hours (45 Colvin Ave Albany NY 12206)
Who should attend?
Individuals with safety and health responsibilities in highway and street construction; bridge, tunnel, water or sewer construction; concrete, utilities, or paving industries; state transportation, and county or municipal street/public works departments.
