The Council Library is one of the most comprehensive and current
resource centers on safety and health information. Most services are
FREE to National Safety Council members. In fact, a one-time search
costs a non-member $125 -- a substantial savings to members.
Regional, International and
Washington, D.C. office
The National Safety Council provides members with local access through
its three regional offices. International members can contact our
office in Kent, England. The Council maintains access to key officials
at the White House, Congress, Federal agencies and private sector
organizations. This enables members to keep abreast of safety and
health policies at the national level.
Members have an opportunity to become more involved through the
Council's Volunteer Structure. Each interest area is represented by a
formal structure for committee activity. Members also have voting
privileges. Local Councils have many avenues for involvement at the
